I had bought this wig a long time ago for Hazuki from Baka to Test but it was originally sold from Fantasy Sheep as a Mari wig. Many years later and I finally used it for its intended purpose.

Easy cosplay was easy~ One day I'll do the plugsuit version... somehow people got wind that I was doing Mari but they were expecting that I had the plugsuit ready to go...

Despite the forecase predicting a rainy day, the skies were pretty clear and it wasn't terribly cold in my opinion! I forgot to bring an umbrella but I'm sure if the rain had come by it would have made for interesting pictures...

The skirt was originally white and purchase from Goodwill. Despite the skirt being made of 63% polyester I used scarlet Rit Dye to dye the skirt which did alright but I probably could have thrown in some black into the dye to get it a darker color. The shirt was from H&M and modified. The patch was commissioned from Wooly Springs. I had the tie from another cosplay (Gakuen!Hetalia). The hair clips were made from Fimo airclay with sanding, minor painting, and glossing, and then were glued onto a headband wrap thing that was painted blue as it originally came in purple. The glasses were bought from the 99 cent store and the lenses were popped out. I already owned the tights and shoes.
